Shopper Extraordinaire

Yesterday we went shopping in Chesterfield with "Aunt" Margaret, and Ava had a blast! Apparently, she already as a shoe fetish at the age of two. At the shoe store, she tried on just about every pair that I did. Then, when we cruising through the toy aisles at Target, Ava pointed out every single baby doll she saw ("baby, baby") and wanted to take her home. We didn't bring home any new babies, but we did pick out a new outfit for her doll at home to wear. So if you're in the market for a gift for Ava, anything shoe- or doll-related is sure to be a big hit. Dane came along, too, but he didn't think it was nearly as much fun as Ava did. He tolerated it quite well, though.

All dressed and ready to go! It was St. Patrick's day, but Ava's only green shirt was a lightweight summery one. Since it was snowing outside, we thought a sweater over top would be a good idea. Notice that the bag matches the shoes!
Having lunch at St. Louis Bread Co. Not quite sure what the sassy look was about. All shopped out! Ava passed out cold on the drive home.
Later, Ava had to try on Mommy's new shoes.
