Dane turned four months old yesterday, and had his well-check at the pediatrician's office today. He now weighs 15 lbs 13 oz and is 25 1/2 inches long -- that's 70th percentile for both weight and length. At two months, he was 5oth for length and 80th for weight, so the little guy is really stretching out! He's very healthy and right on track with his development. He has rolled over both front to back and back to front, he's just not doing it consistently yet. He keeps getting his arm in the way and can't quite get himself flipped over. He can also sit up pretty well with support, and he's smiling, laughing, cooing and babbling like crazy. And watch out for those little hands -- he grabs on tight to anything within his reach. Here's a few photos so you can see how he's growing!
Dane likes to sit in the high chair when Ava and I are eating dinner. That is, when Ava's not insisting that her baby doll sit in the chair.

Ava thought it was funny when Dane grabbed on to her hand.

Fresh from a bath. Yeah, he looks happy now, but you should have heard him scream when the water was running! The nice thing is that all the crying wears him out, and he sleeps REALLY well after his baths!

Love those dimples!

For fun, here's four-month-old Ava. She was around 14 lbs at this age:

In other news, Ava's still doing ok with the big girl bed. The thing is, I don't think she's getting as much sleep now. As soon as she wakes up, there's just too many interesting things to do in her room. Who wants to stay in bed? Here's what I found when I went to get her after her nap yesterday -- a toddler on top of the changing table. I think the table will have to move out of her room ASAP!

She had even gotten out a clean diaper because she was wet. Looks like potty-training time may be rapidly approaching. Not sure Mommy's quite ready for it yet, though. :)
