Easter Sunday, Part 2

As I mentioned in the previous post, the Sunday School kids sang two verses of the following hymn at the Easter Day Divine Service:

Jesus Christ is Risen Today, Alleluia!

Jesus Christ is ris'n today, Alleluia!

Our triumphant holy day, Alleluia!

Who did once upon the cross, Alleluia!

Suffer to redeem our loss, Alleluia!

Hymns of praise, then, let us sing, Alleluia!

Unto Christ, our heav'nly King, Alleluia!

Who endured the cross and grave, Alleluia!

Sinners to redeem and save, Alleluia!

Ava didn't do any singing, but she did stand very nicely in front of church with the other kids. That's all they really expect of 2 and 3 year olds, anyway!An Easter Egg hunt followed the worship service. Here's all the kids, ready to hunt! Bad mommy failed to get a picture of Ava and Dane together in their Easter best. I'll have to get one another Sunday, maybe when the weather is nicer!
