A couple of weekends ago (yes, I'm still trying to catch up here!), the whole family piled into the car and we made the two-plus-hour drive to Macon to surprise our college friend Kara at her 30th birthday party. The trip wiped us all out, but it was worth it to catch up with friends we haven't seen in years!

Ava is obsessed with microphones. Did you know that her favorite non-animated TV show is American Idol? She calls it "my music show".
